How Implant Dentures Work
Implant dentures use 2-4 dental implants strategically placed in your jawbone to anchor a custom denture. Unlike traditional dentures that rest on your gums, these snap securely onto the implants using special attachments called locators or ball attachments.
The result is a denture that stays firmly in place while you eat and speak, but can still be removed for cleaning. You get the stability of implants with the convenience of a removable appliance.
